  • Two Records Broken as Marlins Earn a Win at Lynchburg Quad

    LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University men’s swimming team picked up one win at the Lynchburg Quad meet on Saturday, taking down Southern Virginia University 108-94. The team would fall to Hampden-Sydney 178-63 as well as Lynchburg 202-37.

    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Wesleyan University needs your help to vote for our beloved Jane P. Batten Center Natatorium!  Home to Men’s and Women’s Swimming at Virginia Wesleyan, along with other student groups and outside organizations that use the facility year-round, the pool is still functioning just as well as it did when it was built in 2003.  We now have an excellent opportunity though to add a UV filter to help the pool keep up with the increased use it has seen in recent years.

    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University men’s swim team fell, 144-72, to Randolph in the team’s home opener on Saturday afternoon. Despite the loss, the Marlins were able to notch one new school record.

    LEXINGTON, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University men’s swim team had a solid outing in the season opening ODAC Relays hosted by Washington and Lee University on Saturday afternoon. The squad took home eighth overall, racking up 23 points on the day.
