GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Virginia Wesleyan University men's swim team competed well in the program's first ever trip to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships located at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. The men currently sit in 8th place after one day of action, collecting 48 points.

Carlo and Rinkus then buddied up with Kyle Woolf and Matt Bavuso to set a new record in the 400-yd medley relay, clocking in with a time of 4:19.45.
Rinkus kept the ball rolling on the individual side as his time of 22.51 in the 50-yd free earned him a spot in the finals. There, the freshman finished with a time of 22.32, breaking his own record at VWU.
Matt Bavuso rounded out the day as he set a new PR in the 500-yd free as he clocked in with a time of 6:41.17.
