FOREST, Va. – Thomas Potter of the Virginia Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team was named a Third Team All-Conference member by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) for his performance over the 2019 season.
Potter was mainstay for Coach Stewart's defense, starting in all 17 of the Marlin contests this year. The senior did his best to clog up the opponent's offensive zone, causing 15 turnovers on the season. Potter also performed well on 50-50 balls, scooping up a career-high 48 on the year and a single-game career high seven against No. 14 Christopher Newport University.
The Manchester, Md. native also got involved in the offense as well this season, turning in a career-high six points. Twice Potter scored against conference opponents and he would finish the year with four goals and two assists.
