GLEN ALLEN, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University men's golf team finished 10th at the Ted Keller Memorial which finished up Sunday at the Dominion Club. The squad combined for a 339 on day two, giving them a two-round score of 668 (+92).
Taylor Cunningham once turned in the team's low scorecard for the second-straight day as he shot 78 (+6). His two-day score of 154 (+10) placed in a tie for 15th overall.
Next to finish for the Marlins was Noah Phillips who shot an 82 (+10) on the second day. The sophomore placed in a tie for 43rd as he ended at a +21. Jackson Lyons was the next low finisher as he ended the two days with a 171 (+27) and right behind him was Noah Hughes with a 179 (+35). Those two finished 54th and 55th, respectively.
Rounding out the Marlin team was Beau Janousek who placed 60th with a two-day score of 186 (+42).
Men's golf returns to action again on October 9th for the Marlin Invite Tri-Match which takes place at Cypress Point Country Club in Virginia Beach, Va.
