Men's Golf in 10th After Opening Round of Ted Keller Memorial

GLEN ALLEN, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University men's golf team currently sits in 10th place after Day One of the Ted Keller Memorial played at The Dominion Club. The squad combined to shoot a 329 (+41) over the first round.

Leading the way for the Marlins was Taylor Cunningham who shot a 76 (+4) over the first 18. The junior registered a +2 on both the front and back, collecting a trio of birdies along the way. The score placed him in a tie for 10th

Jackson Lyons and Noah Phillips were the next top finishers for the Marlin crew as they finished the opening round in a tie for 37th. Both golfers shot an 83 and both nailed a birdie on the back nine.

Rounding out the squad was Noah Hughes and Beau Janousek who placed 52nd and 60th, respectively.

Men's golf will be back in action again at noon on Sunday for the final day of the Ted Keller Memorial.
