VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University men's and women's golf teams have posted their schedules for the upcoming 2019 fall season. Both the men and women will be competing in four tournaments including one at their home course of Cypress Point Country Club.
Both squads begin their seasons on in September beginning with the men who travel to Harrisonburg, Va. on the 16th where they will compete in the two-day Tom Kinder Memorial. The women will square off in the Bridgewater Invitational six days later. Both tournaments will be held at Lakeview Golf Course.
The men are back in action next as the team heads to The Old Dominion Club in Glen Allen, Va. for the Ted Keller Invitational. That competition will start Sept. 28 and finish the following day. The women will return to play that following weekend as the Randolph Macon Fall Invite has them competing Sept. 28 and 29. That takes place at Hanover Country Club in Ashland, Va.
Its then a single day home event for the Marlins as the men and women host a pair of teams at Cypress Point on Oct. 9.
To round out the fall season, both sides will head to the Virginia State Golf Association (VGSA) Intercollegiate. The men's tournament will take place in Blacksburg, Va. with the opening round on Oct. 14. The women travel to Newport News, Va. (James River Country Club), where they will open up on Oct. 19.
