FOREST, Va. – Keith Cooper of the Virginia Wesleyan University men's golf team has been named a Third Team All-Conference member by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) for his performance through the 2018-19 season.
Cooper left it all on the course in his final season as a Marlin, turning in some of the team's top scores. The Suffolk, Va. native brought home top-10 finishes in five different events during the season and four top-5 finishes. His top outing came this year at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina as he shot a 63 in round one, eclipsing not only his own lowest score but also the Virginia Wesleyan low score set by Evan Cox in 2015. Cooper used that low score as well as a 75 in round two and a 67 in round three to top the 40 player field.
Other notable finishes on the season came at the Marlin Invite, the Eagle Invite and the Glenn heath Memorial as he claimed fifth at all three of those.
To finish off his career as a Marlin, the senior placed ninth in the ODAC Championship as he shot a 226 (+10)
