D'Juan Tucker
Title: Volunteer Assistant Coach

D’Juan Tucker returns to the Marlin men’s basketball coaching staff in the fall of 2018. A former Virginia Wesleyan player and coach, Tucker brings a tremendous knowledge of collegiate basketball to the coaching staff.

Graduating from Virginia Wesleyan University in 2008, Tucker was part of an extremely successful men’s basketball program. While in a Marlin uniform, Tucker’s teams held a record of 105-21. He was the starting point guard for the school’s first ever Division III National Championship (206) as well as their National Runner-up stint the following season.  

Post graduation, Tucker got into the coaching side of things, teaming up with his alma mater as an assistant coach as well as the Director of Recruiting. He would remain in this position for five seasons, helping the squad turn out a record of 115-35 and earn five-straight NCAA appearances.

After ending his stint with Marlins, Tucker turned to coaching at the high school level. The Virginia Beach, Va. local was the head coach of a Higher Level 17U AAU team as well as the Assistant Boys Varsity Coach at Hylton High school.
