Baseball Duo Named Second Team All-State
July 03, 2019ANNANDALE, Va. – Two members of the Virginia Wesleyan University baseball team were named Second Team All-State by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) for their performances over the 2019 season. Jacob Pilarski was tabbed as a starting pitcher while Jordan McDonough was named the Second Team's first baseman. -

May 29, 2019VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Two members of the Virginia Wesleyan University baseball team were named Third Team All-South Region members by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings for their performances during the 2019 season. Jacob Pilarski was tabbed as a pitcher while Jordan McDonough was named the Third Team’s first baseman. -

Baseball Splits But Bows Out of ODACs with Loss to Macon
May 10, 2019SALEM, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University baseball team split its two games at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship, bowing out of the tournament with a loss to Randolph-Macon in game two. The Marlins eliminated Roanoke from the Tournament with a 2-1 victory before falling to the Yellow Jackets by the same score. The Marlins finish their year with a record of 22-17. -
Baseball's Comeback Falls Short in ODAC Championship Second Round
May 09, 2019ASHLAND, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University baseball team fell, 4-2, to Randolph-Macon Thursday afternoon in the second round of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship. With the loss, the Marlins slide to 21-16 on the season and will go on to play the loser of Shenandoah and Roanoke at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. -

With the win the Marlins hit the 20-win plateau as they improve to 20-15. Ferrum drops to 22-17. -
Baseball Earns Senior Day Split with Eastern Mennonite
April 27, 2019VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University baseball team split its doubleheader with Eastern Mennonite Saturday afternoon at Kenneth R. Perry Field. The Marlins earned a 19-8 win over the Royals in game two, but fell to them, 12-2, in the day’s second game. With the results, the Marlins finish their regular season with a record of 19-15 while going 13-9 in conference play. This also means the Marlins have earned the three seed in the ODAC Championship and will host Hampden-Sydney for a best-of-three series in the opening round. -
