BRIDGEWATER, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan University women's cross country team posted an eighth place team finish at the 2021 Old Dominion Athletic Conference meet hosted by Bridgewater College on Saturday afternoon in Bridgewater, VA. 

INSIDE THE RESULTS
The Marlins were led by Marranda Hansford who placed 39th with a time of 27:33.1. Emily Petsko finished 46th coming in at 27:52.7. Haley Witt finished 67th while Jessica Wilson was close behind in 70th. Holly Hatter rounded out the ranks placing 79th with a time of 32:56.5.

Overall the Marlins finished eighth out of eleven teams competing. Lynchburg led the way with four runners placing in the top six.

The Marlins return to action on November 13 when they travel to Spartanburg, SC to compete at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championship meet.
