BRIDGEWATER, Virginia - The Virginia Wesleyan University men's cross country team was led by senior Ethan Cravens at the 2021 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship meet hosted by Bridgewater College on Saturday morning in Bridgewater, VA. 

INSIDE THE RESULTS
The Marlins were led by Cravens who finished 44th with a seasons best time of 29:20.4. Cravens moved up in the pack as he crossed each mile split. He was 68th at mile one, moved up to 64th as he crossed mile two, and jumped nearly ten spots to 55th at mile three. As he crossed the four mile marker, Cravens was 50th before he crossed the finish line in 44th.

Colton Spence finished a few places later in 51st running a time of 29:32.4. Spence's highest ranking was 47th as he crossed the one mile split. He fell a few spots to 52nd at mile two before rebounding to 49th at mile three. At mile four, Spence as 48th before dropping a few spots to finish the race 51st.

Landon Crooks rounded out the race for the Marlins coming in 77th with a time of 32:58.7. Crooks was 84th as he crossed the one mile split. He dropped two spots to 86th at mile two before jumping up to 79th at mile three. Crooks fell down a spot to 80th as he crossed the fourth mile split but gained some ground in the home stretch to finish 77th of 90 runners.
