Women's Swimming Remains in 11th After Day Two of ODACs

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Virginia Wesleyan University women's swim team remained in 11th place after day two of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships. The team has amassed 46 points so far.

Some of the evenings first points came in the 200yd medley relay as the combination of Miah Kurtz, Amanda Waller, Hayley Heath and Shayna Anthony timed a 2:18.28.Sticking with the relays, Kurtz, Waller, Taylor Morich and Jordan McCowan all combined to set a new school record of 10:07.64 in the 800 free relay.

Individually, Heath came away with a school record of her own, clocking a 1:09.63 in the 100yd fly. A couple of personal bests were set in the 200yd free as well including a 2:21.23 from Waller, a 2:31.67 from Morich and a 2:37.59 from McCowan.

Women's swimming will return to action at 10 a.m. on Sunday for the final day of the ODAC Championships.
