Women’s Swimming Takes Down Greensboro for Third Straight Win

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University women's swim team continued its hot streak as the Marlins defeated Greensboro in a dual meet by a score of 97-66 this Saturday afternoon.

Amanda Waller earned a narrow first place victory in the 50-yard breaststroke clocking in at 38.36, just 0.12 seconds faster than Greensboro's Emma Volpp. Waller also took another first place finish in the 200-yard freestyle with a finals time of 2:35.69.

Hayley Heath also added to the Marlins' collection of first place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:06.84.

The next challenge for the Marlins is the looming ODAC Championships on February 15th. The action is set to kickoff at 1:00 P.M. in Greensboro, N.C.
