Women's Golf Sits in 10th After Bridgewater Invite Opening Round

HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University women's golf team sits in 10th place at the conclusion of day one at the Bridgewater Invitational.

After the first day, Maggie Kingora shot the lowest score on the Marlin squad as she registered an 87 (+15). Her score put her in 32nd place out of the 71 person field. Just behind her was teammate Hannah Turner, who turned in an opening round scorecard of 90 (+18).

Rounding out the Marlin squad was a duo of freshman including Ashlee Bobzin (+26) and Sarah Conley (+33).

 

Women's golf will return to the course tomorrow morning for the second and final round of the Bridgewater Invitational.
