Marlins Finish Second Round of ODAC Championship
WINTERGREEN, Va. -- No. 41 Bridgewater College continues to lead the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women's Golf Championship as Hannah Turner and Maggie Kingora continue to represent the Marlins on the links.
Kingora shot a 101 (+29) in the second round as Turner posted a 103 (+31). Turner has fallen into a tie for 16th place while Kingora sits in 21st among all individuals. The only two individuals not tied to a team score ahead of them are Shelby Estes in third place, and Shannon Ciccarello in a tie for ninth, both of Hollins University.
Christina Herbert of Bridgewater, the sixth-ranked player in the country, continues to sit atop the individual leaderboard after shooting a 78 (+6) in the second round. Her 150 (+6) is currently seven strokes up on No. 35 Mary Frances Hall of Washington and Lee University.
No. 41 Bridgewater has a sizeable lead in the team competition, posting a two-day 660 (+84), 34 strokes ahead of No. 17 Washington and Lee.
The ODAC Women's Championship will conclude on Tuesday. Turner and Kingora will tee off at 10:40 a.m., joined by Emily Conrad of Shenandoah University.
