Virginia Wesleyan Introduces Women's Golf for 2016-17 Season

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The Virginia Wesleyan College athletic department is excited to announce the creation of a women's golf program which will begin competition in fall of 2016.

The women's golf program will play a full Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) schedule in 2016-17 and will look to build on the success already displayed by the men's program in the conference landscape.

The ODAC currently hosts six schools in women's golf with Virginia Wesleyan being the seventh program. Bridgewater College, Eastern Mennonite University, Hollins University, Randolph-Macon College, Shenandoah University, and Washington and Lee University already have women's golf programs.
