Men Suspended against Neumann
ASHLAND, Va. -- The Virginia Wesleyan University men's soccer team will have to wait another day to play its first match of the season after Friday's contest with Neumann was suspended due to weather.
The teams made it 29 minutes before action was suspended due to lightning in the area. Neumann was up 1-0 at the time. The game had already been moved to Striker Park in Glen Allen, Va. due to poor field conditions at Randolph-Macon. Since the game did not reach the 70th minute, it was not a complete game. A makeup match has not been announced.
Tomorrow's match has been moved to Striker Park as well due to R-MC field conditions. The Marlins will now play at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow against Wesley.
