VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Last year, the school went from Virginia Wesleyan College to Virginia Wesleyan University. This year even more changes are on the rise!
No worries, Bob the Marlin is not going anywhere but the old vertical-esque Marlin logo has been set aside for a sleeker, fiercer looking horizontal one (story picture above). Along with the new logo, the University has rebranded its font, going with the sharp looking "Big Fish" font style, created by Virginia Wesleyan's own Design Manager of Marketing and Communications, Christine Hall. The University's colors will also remain the same (dark blue, coastal blue and gray).
All teams will begin to integrate both the new logo and font in the upcoming 2018-19 academic year.
